SAE CDS Formula Electric Volunteer Call
Members,
The SAE Collegiate Design Series administrators, as per student request, would like to increase the number of accepted entries for the Formula SAE Electric event from 20 to 40 teams, but in order to do so, they need more volunteer help!
If you have time to commit, and are interested in witnessing the rapid growth of vehicle electrification, from a scholastic perspective, then please get in touch with Kaley:
Kaley Zundel
Collegiate Program Manager
SAE INTERNATIONAL
o +1.724.772.8533
e kzundel@sae.org
Formula SAE Electric is an SAE CDS event, similar to the more established Formula SAE, but where the competition vehicles are fully electrically-powered.
The immediate need is for volunteers to make their time available to review team-submitted homologation documents, obviously heavily biased towards high-powered vehicle electrical systems. The SAE CDS administrators need to respond to the student teams on October 28th to confirm whether they can comply with their request to increase the number of entries.
Follow this link for more details:
http://media.saebritishcolumbia.org/downloads/Formula%20SAE%20Electric%20-%20Urgent%20Need%20%28003%29.pdf
Thank you for your consideration, and we and the students would be infinitely grateful to see you volunteer your time!
